~A Dozen Roses~
My work is having a fundraiser for the Bellevue Lions Club by selling bouquets of flowers or a dozen roses for $15. Roses will be delivered later in the month. I couldn't think of anyone who really needed cheering up so I asked a friend for the name of a good retirement/assisted living facility. He recommended a few and I chose Woodside Lutheran Senior Communities, because I'm Lutheran.
I grabbed a blank card from home with a matching green envelope and wrote a simple note to the staff of the facility asking them to please distribute a rose to 12 people who really need cheering up. Hope it brightens someone's day! :-)

That is the sweetest and most thoughtful thing I have heard someone do Rachael. Good for you. I am sure you really put some smiles on some faces today.
